Get your frame rate back.

• Use Draft or High while programming; switch to Ultra for renders.
• Close other GPU-heavy apps.
• Plug in your MacBook’s power adapter.
• Heavy haze, crowds and venues cost GPU time on smaller Macs.

See your frame rate

Choose View ▸ Show FPS (⇧⌘P) to show the frame rate in the viewport. Help ▸ Run Benchmark… measures your Mac and saves the results to your Desktop.
