Glossary

Terms used throughout HAZE and this help center.

• MVR: My Virtual Rig, a file format for sharing a rig (fixtures, truss, positions) between apps.
• MVR-xchange: live MVR sharing over the network; HAZE can discover and join grandMA3 stations.
• sACN (E1.31) / Art-Net: network protocols for sending DMX. HAZE receives both.
• Universe: a block of 512 DMX channels.
• Haze: atmospheric effect that makes beams visible.
• Bloom: the glow around bright light sources. HAZE uses a tight core glow by default.
• Color Presence: makes color looks read the way the eye sees them in the room. On by default.
• Brand Kit: your logo, watermark, name and company on renders and PDFs.
